In all the world of entertainment, there are a lot of different types of actors. It is recommended that one have this done in a professional studio so that the quality that is high and all technical imperfections are rectified and background noise eliminated. The majority of clients will only accept submissions that are either on a compact disc or in the form of digital media.

To begin the search for jobs, an actor must first decide not only what area they want to work in, but also what level they wish to be on. The four main categories in this field are Local, Regional, National, and International. Each one comes with their own individual requirements, challenges, and rewards

Once one has decided which level and genre they are going to work in, it is time to start sending out demo tapes and resume's. The key to this part of the process is to apply for as many jobs as possible, and to have patience in getting accepted. There are thousands of people interested in the same roles, so diligence and perseverance are key factors to getting noticed and gaining profitable employment.
