This Is What Makes A Hypnotist Show Is Fun And Safe

By Jessica Reed

Entertainment is something very unique and a treasured practice for humankind. Different forms of amusement were created for the purpose of socialization and enjoyment since the start of any civilization. Anything that man has thought of has probably been turned into some form of recreation may it be sports or something as supernatural as what can seem like magic and sorcery.

There have been many interesting ways that humans amuse themselves. One particularly entertaining facet is the use of stage hypnotism. It has nothing to do with hypnotherapy or treatment, they just use it for fun. The whole thing is a phenomenon given that there are a lot of famous hypnotist throughout the decade. A Seattle hypnotist show is particularly popular in Washington.

The purpose for this is not only to entertain but to make its audience open minded about the benefits that the practice can give. The shows have different content ranging from something child friendly to something adults and mature people can enjoy. This is a matter of preference for the performer and his audience.

Entertainment hypnotists focus more on comedic content. They use the power of your own mind to create a show. Most of these performances puts a participant under some form of hallucination, amnesia and other mood altering effects. There has always been a debate whether what is shown is actual hypnotic trance or really just the manipulation of psychological factors of the subject.

There is no exploitation of free will that happens. The fact that these are willing individuals that participate and volunteer themselves know what they are getting into tell you that there was permission and trust between the hypnotist and the volunteers. Hypnosis cannot be done without the permit of the person getting hypnotized and they can break free from the trance any time they want.

A common misconception is how people think hypnosis is doing things beyond your control without your permission. So much content in media promote this thinking, which is not exactly true. There needs to be certain level of trust and comfort that needs to be established for the hypnosis to work. Most of all, anyone can just break free from a hypnotic spell if they want to, in the case of entertainment.

Many are skeptics because this has been portrayed in a bad light. There are stories of people jumping off of buildings because they have been hypnotized. Those are just things in fiction that never really happen. According to the licensed experts, one cannot stay in a hypnotized state, unless you have learned to hypnotize yourself.

The subject is apparently always in control. The fact is that hypnosis is just putting the person in an incredible state of calm where they would feel free to do anything they want. There are some cases though where the participant may get embarrassed. This can be largely due to the hypnotist disregard for the participants welfare with the goal if getting the audience to laugh hysterically. This is not a sign of good ethical practice.

These performance may have their own shows that you can buy a ticket to like they often do in Las Vegas. There are also those that you can book for a gig in Seattle. What is great about this type of entertainment is how it helps you open your mind about the bigger and more wonderful things you did not know your brain can do.
